Customizes Your Network Extension over Fiber Optic Cable
This network mode converter changes a Fiber Mode Converter signal and extends it to a second network device located farther away than copper cabling’s 100-meter limit. The mode conversion allows your network connection to reach hubs, switches and other devices located up to 500m to 10Km away. The fiber media converter is ideal for network engineers migrating toward higher-density data centers.

LEDs Indicate Installation Performance and Diagnostic Functions
Easy-to-read LEDs on the side of the media converter indicate essential status information, including network speed and connection, signal diagnostics and unit power. LEDs indicate when a fiber cable has been severed or another cause of disruption in service has occurred.
