Each camera captures traffic in one lane at a range of up to 100 m (328 ft) during daytime. For coverage of multiple lanes, more cameras can easily be installed. In pitch darkness the camera captures license plate images at up to 50 m (164 ft) and up to 100 m (328 ft) with the optional accessory AXIS T90D20 IR-LED Illuminator. AXIS Q1700-LE includes a built-in license plate capture assistant to ensure easy setup for best video performance. Simply enter the installation height, distance to the vehicle and expected speed, and the license plate capture assistant automatically adjusts the image settings to perfectly fit your specific scene. This robust and weatherproof camera includes an extra-long weathershield for protection in any environment. It can withstand hurricane force winds of more than 60 m/s (134 mph) and with IP66, NEMA 4X and IK10 ratings, you can be sure that it’s resistant to both harsh weather conditions and impacts.
